Kate Cameron-Donald is a multidisclipinary designer and artist based in New Zealand, working across the Industrial, Graphic, Interior Design and Fine-Art realms, with a love of colour, pattern and traditional craft.
I gained my Bachelor of Design (Hons), majoring in Industrial Design, from Massey University Wellington, and followed it up with a Masters in Engineering Management (MEM) from Canterbury University, in which I explored the role that design and innovation plays in business. I have over five years international practice in Industrial Design, as well as experience in branding and graphic design for new and small-medium businesses.
My background in multiple design disciplines and belief in collaboration enables me to approach design projects with a holistic vision and develop cohesive, integrated design solutions. Balancing tension is integral to my work; by aligning aesthetics, functionality, user-experience, craftsmanship and business values, I deliver results that not only look good, but outshine the status quo.
I love working with like-minded people, so If it's a piece you'd like commissioned, a challenge you need help solving, or an opportunity to collaborate, let's chat.
